About SSWEI
The Safe Space Wellness Equity Institute (SSWEI) is a Black-centred, liberation-informed public-benefit institute advancing mental health equity for Black and racialized communities in Alberta and Saskatchewan. SSWEI develops and shares accessible resources, publishes research findings, and creates learning opportunities that strengthen culturally responsive Black health and wellness knowledge and practice.
